Brief thoughts on track with little to no musical analysis:)
1) Like it, but a little too long. Needs a solo.
2) Like it, and musically I like how it progresses through the track. Just think the rapping goes on a bit too long. I don't have a problem with him rapping, but just not so much. Again needs some sort of lead.
3) Great track. Being a big fan of anything that makes fun of the hip-hop culture (or country music for that matter), the lyrics were genius. Plus they made fun of Scientology, which was nice. Musically very good.
4) It seems like you can't be European without taking shots at America, the government at least, but it is not that we don't deserve some of it. Now Sweden's governemnt...can't say they are so great, and their refusal to convert to the Euro...Anyway, this is a very catchy song and a good track.
5) When the track started, I kept thinking to the beginning of the Wedding Singer and the song "You Spin Me Right Round". Adam Sandler was going to appear at any moment. This is actually a pretty good track after 5-6 listens, maybe a bit to long.
6-8) I kind of zone out at this point, as there is nothing really great about these tracks.
9) A great song that would have been even better with a ton of leads. And I think the screaming makes this song and is far from pointless. But I know how Jebus hates screaming in music.
10) Decent, but far too long.
Overall, better than BE, but not the other PoS albums. Hard to say where I stand on the direction of this band. Their first four albums were so good that maybe it is impossible to deliver that consistency and still stay interested as a band musically. Although Daniel writes all the lyrics and music, so it seems like what they create is based on his whims. And right now he is more interested in politics and so forth. I do wish he would just throwing in a couple songs with leads galore, lots of time-changes, and wank away.
